This is the first native Polish breed to be introduced to the United States. PONS, as these dogs are often called, are very easy to live with. They're active dogs that need daily exercise. They travel well, and usually enjoy children. However, they will bite if provoked, and they're sometimes aggressive with other dogs. Height: 16" - 20" Weight: 35 - 50 pounds Coat: Shaggy and slightly wavy. Must be brushed and combed at least every other day. Ears hang down. Tail is a natural bobtail or docked. Colors: Many different colors are available. Nose is dark; eye color varies. |
