Norwegian Buhund

Norwegian Buhunds are accomplished herders on Scandinavian farms. They're happy-go-lucky dogs with keen senses. They need lots of exercise.

Buhunds make excellent watchdogs. They're good with children and usually friendly with other pets. They love to bark.

Height: 15" - 17"

Weight: 25 -40 pounds

Coat: Harsh, medium-length with a dense undercoat. Brush twice a week. Ears prick up. Tail curls along the middle of the back.

Colors: Usually wheaten with black-tipped hairs and a black mask. Eyes and nose are dark.
