The Havanese is closely related to the Bichon Frise. These lively little dogs were once pets of the wealthy ruling class in Havana, Cuba. Havanese learn tricks easily and enjoy being the center of attention. They're sometimes reserved with strangers, but enjoy children and other animals. Origin: Cuba Height: 8" - 10" Weight: 7-13 pounds Coat: Wavy or curly. Brush daily. Feathered ears hang down. Colors: Champagne, white, golden and particolor. Eyes and nose are dark. |
