Anatolian Shepherds are loyal, hardy and independent. They're stubborn dogs, however, and professional obedience training is highly recommended. Anatolians are highly territorial and suspicious of strangers. Origin: Turkey Height: approximately 29" Weight: 100 - 115 pounds Coat: Short (one inch minimum) to Rough (about four inches) with slightly longer neck hair. Ears down. Colors: Many colors and patterns are available. Nose is solid black or brown; eyes dark brown to light amber. |
